Adventurer, Photographer and Free Spirit
Nancy Frye discovered digital photography as her long career in Landscape Architecture was drawing to a close. Still delighting in the natural world, she photographs subjects beginning with her own garden and encompassing the people and places that populate her ever-widening world of travel.
In addition to the offerings on this website, she maintains an extensive library of images and photo artistry available as either electronic files or finished photographs for commercial and residential interior design, periodicals, travel brochures, reference materials such as plant identification publications, illustrations for fiction and non-fiction written works, catalogs, posters, and on and on.
She is also available to accompany researchers such as naturalists, historians, paleontologists, archaeologists and anthropologists into the field to document and/or illustrate their work. Having travelled eco/adventure-style in Central and South America, the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon, and Egypt, she is no stranger to third-world countries and challenging living conditions.
She also photographs events and children's parties.
Ms. Frye works from studios in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Tryon, North Carolina. |
